Air Europa has announced it will launch a new business class cabin design with more capacity on its Boeing 787-9 aircraft from October.
The new cabin design features a 1-2-1 layout to offer each passenger direct aisle access. Seats will be upholstered in leather and will convert into fully flat beds.
Latin America specialist Air Europa says the design reflects the service and products onboard, including entertainment systems with 17-inch touch screens, free wifi and a new amenity kit.
In-flight meals in the new business class cabin have been designed by Spanish chef Martin Berasategui. Passengers will also have access to ‘VIP rooms’, priority boarding and security, as well as increased bonus miles through the Air Europa SUMA loyalty programme.
UK and Ireland director Colin Stewart commented: “With growing interest in travel to South America, amongst both business and leisure travellers, we’re delighted to launch this new product.”
The redesign will bring the business class cabin from 30 to 32 seats and will be rolled out across 12 B787-9 aircraft joining the airline’s fleet over the next few years.
